For wishes - like stardust - are everywhere.

Exist in quiet solitude;
Lazy peace
You can’t.
For wishes crowd your (M)ind:
Soft cotton, they shimmer,
Float, gently, through a(I)r
Tuck deep into crevices -
Into minds.
Con(S)tantly clamoring
The bacteria of the (S)oul
Drowning you in greed and ambition
Goodness - what some will do for ambition! -
In longing and love
No matter what it is
You most desire
The wishes keep coming.
So,
Let them.
Why not?
Want more
Crave more -
Chocolate, books, presents -
All those things
The “nonimportants” of life
But (Y)ou can’t help wishing for them anyway
Now,
Starve yourself
Of the little luxuries
Food, water, fine cl(O)thing
It will only increase the wishes
Voices growing to a tempest
Longing, weeping,
For what you cannot have
Next -
Want what only yo(U)r dreams can achieve;
Flee to another world,
Find a friend,
To be like everyone else -
But different (how is that possible?)
Fly,
Disappear in the blink of an eye
And listen
To the wail of the wishes
Do not deny the wishes!
Crave the world
Plot of power
You will never have
Let the wi(S)hes run rampant
Let yourself be overcome by greed and hatred
Because only that
Can distract
From your
Real
Desire
The (O)ne thing that I can never have
Is you
Back
But
It doesn’t matter
For
What good are
