The Falling action of a sunset by Julia Brandt

Through the windows panes that frame my door, the remnants of a beautiful sunset linger. Had I looked mere minutes before, I might have seen the entire rainbow with its vibrant colors painted across the sky. Before my eyes, the colors fade out, one by one. First orange leaves, yellow says its goodbyes, and green makes its excuses. All that remains is dull blue, shadowed by black trees.

Red is the color of love and hate
I see red
I see the red of the brightest flowers when I watch the intuition flicker through your bright eyes
I love hearing your voice fill with joyful surprise
The smile that lights your perfect face
How everything you do you do with grace
I love how you embody perfection by wrote
I see red
I see the red of blood flowing from a cut
I want these feelings to close and shut
I hate how I smiled when you last spoke
I hate how I smile at all of your jokes
You're the last thing I think about before I go to bed
Your why I can’t distinguish these colors of red
I hate how you make me smile for no reason at all
I love the flying
I hate the fall
I hate the butterflies that flutter in my stomach
I hate how much I love them
I know you do not love me, not even at all
I know you cast me away
I know that these feelings of red are here to stay

No and on by anonymous

NO VS ON

No,
No is a simple word that can set the most extreme limits
This word has halted progress and silenced many peoples
It’s stopped good things from happening and bad things too
The word shows power
People who can't say it don't have control
The simple two letter word discourages people from persisting to get what they desire.
But if you flip the letters.
You get on,
On,
These two letters are in a phrase that is the opposite of stop or no
Carry on
To not let no stop you
To keep striving to get what you want
Until you achieve what you need to you don’t stop trying

Many in body one in mind,

When a group of people
Unite over a
Common goal
A goal to achieve
A goal that will challenge
They take on a challenge with the same mindset
And achieve that goal in one form or another

Laughter by anonymous

Sometimes people ask,
Why are you always so happy, why do you always laugh?
I don’t exactly know why, but it just feels right. After thinking about it I’ll answer,”
Because I rather go through life being happy, than being miserable.” This is just the type of person I am, I let the giggles and laughs held inside fly out and escape from my mouth. I will laugh until my sides hurt and all the negativity goes away.
