Something that always bothers me is a great book with a so-so cover. There are a lot of books that I wasn't all that interested in reading (because, let's be honest, we all judge books by their covers) but did anyway because of some exterior reason (i.e. for school, asked to by a friend or family member). Today I have some alternate covers of books that I love the content but not so much the look. Hope you enjoy!
judging a book by its cover just got taken to a whole new level, and honestly, i'm kinda here for it6/16/2020 Hi readers! How is everyone? Life's been crazy recently, but I thought that a new post might be some much-needed sunshine, at least in my life. Instead of a review today, I thought that I could show a little graphic design. I'm no master, but I do enjoy making designs here and there, so why not share them with the Lit Mag community? Something that always bothers me is a great book with a so-so cover. There are a lot of books that I wasn't all that interested in reading (because, let's be honest, we all judge books by their covers) but did anyway because of some exterior reason (i.e. for school, asked to by a friend or family member). Today I have some alternate covers of books that I love the content but not so much the look. Hope you enjoy! Which was your favorite? Personally, I like the We Were Liars cover. For most improved from original cover, I'd have to go with Frankie Landau-Banks. I just cannot stan either of the actual covers. See you next time, and make sure to keep reading, readers.
