Try to the new shampoo challenge to reduce detrimental chemicals that contaminate the earthly waters.Though, many doctors say different hair has different needs. Dr. Rogers references, "Other people may have lower sebum production and may be better off washing every few days."
Ocean Friendly Sunscreens to Buy:
Usually families are in a hurry to dive right into the relaxing paradise, we call "down the shore" or "beach life". So, they pick up the cheapest sunscreen that is marked as a high SPF. Well, with a good, high SPF to block off UV rays, the bottle must be perfect. But, in most sunscreens there is harmful chemicals like oxybenzone, butylparaben, and octinoxate that are washed off your skin and leaked into the delicate, ocean life. Oxybenzone and octinoxate have been scientifically proven to increase coral bleaching, such as, 4,000 - 6,000 metric tons of sunscreen ingredients a year emanate into sea life. Many of the ingredients also are absorbed by the body. (96% of Americans contain oxybezone in their body) On EWG's website they announced, "Three other studies reported statistically significant associations between oxybenzone exposure during pregnancy and birth outcomes"- https://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/report/the-trouble-with-sunscreen-chemicals/#.W4Le2minHrc

Green Mountain Energy is a wonderful company which powers home with electricity from windmills. The electricity surges through the same power lines we have from PECO, so there is no new installation. Also, Green Mountain Energy is actually cheaper than PECO sometimes, check out the website for more information: www.greenmountainenergy.com/
Honey bees are now reclining because of pesticide use, pollution- which harms the plants they need to pollinate, foreign pests, diseases, and habitat loss. We need bees for pollination.
How you can help:
WELL, REUSE them in projects like scarecrows to scare away any birds or unwanted animals, they can be made into drop spindles for spinning wool, and disks can be a base for gift bags.
