He left it in front of me,
On the white spotless table.
He told me my life was pointless,
And told me to drink it.
That it will give me peace,
That it will give the world some peace.
He left me in the darkness for a while,
Waited for me to make a decision.
I examined the glass.
Noticed the drink.
A drink filled with hatred and disgust.
Sitting in front of me.
A glass with a drink barely half way through.
All the memories started to surround me,
Reminded me of the life I was living,
So I took the glass to my lips,
And closed my eyes.
For there was nothing to look forward to.
For my vision was like the color of the drink.
