Bombshell by Tessa Sandre

She doesn't understand
say it again
say it again
Say it again
She’s hot?
She’s fine?
She’s stars in your eyes?
two legs raised high?
two lips,
rose colored, that give the illusion of being able to open,
Yet all anyone ever sees is the thin pressed line of silence
She doesn't understand
say it again
say it again
say it again
She's a fox
She's a woman with no other name than the one you give her
She's easy on the eyes
thank God She does not defy your conjurations of beautiful,
She says,
“I'm easy on the eyes
the way a bombshell babe with a silver blade cuts clean through the vision of a man who has forgotten how to cry”
