Dribbles on and on the rain
Clash, thud, ba-dum
Roars the the thundercloud in the foreboding sky
Electricity, it is quite persnickety
Striking every tree in its electric current
The weather brings on gloom and headaches of dispirited hopes
Even the little bright blue eyes of a saddened toddler
can't make the fuss disappear
The commotion progresses,
Rain drums the beat of splash, splash, splash
The streets have become rivers
with agitated water and unwanted trash
The thunders strengthens
and bursts out gunshots one after the other
Lighting starts to target skyscrapers, houses
And even humans
Everything is burnt by the lightings whip
No point in trying to stop the outrageous activity above
The perfect thing to do now is
Just
To
Sleep
